Sales Associate
Austin ShadeWorks is seeking an experienced design and customer service minded individual to join our team as a Sales and Client Service Associate based in our Austin showroom. Do you follow interior design or home fashion sites? Do you pin home interiors on Houzz and Instagram? If you have a love of home fashion, and are a self-starter with strong communication skills and a positive attitude, we want to meet you.
About the Role -
-
As a Sales and Client Service Associate, you will play a key role in the Client Experience, from the point of initial client inquiry in our showroom, and also through phone, e-mail, and social channels and continuing throughout the entire product selection and installation process. You will seamlessly navigate between multiple client interactions and internal systems, while working collaboratively with, and supporting, the Sales Team.

The Successful Candidate -
-
Is punctual, reliable, and a quick learner who is passionate about being a client advocate and delighting customers.
-
Is comfortable working across multiple communication channels (email, phone, chat, etc...); at least one year of prior experience answering inquiries across channels (email, phone, chat, etc...) is a plus!

Is able to multi-task, navigating between client interactions and supporting other members of the Sales Team, without losing focus.
-
Has great focus and attention to detail in preparing client quotes and proposals, is able to keep track of multiple iterations of quotes throughout the clients’ product selection process. Strong basic math skills and a high level of accuracy are a must.

Has excellent communications skills, and is comfortable working with a variety of high-end clients including Interior Designers, Architects, Homeowners and Custom Home Builders.

Required Qualifications -

Detail Oriented with strong Critical Thinking Skills

Ability to listen and communicate effectively

Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, work independently, problem solve and be a self starter

Highly proficient using MS Office, and MS Excel, excellent math skills, and customer service

Able to perform duties in a team structure while accomplishing individual tasks.

Experience working in retail, design, sales or customer service preferred.

Must be able to pass drug screening and background checks, no criminal record

Experience with social media and web-based marketing a plus.

Installation Technician Trainee

Installation Manager
Are you an experienced window coverings installer? Have you served in a lead role for luxury home remodeling and installation work? Requirements:

MUST have experience in residential construction and installation, preferably with window treatment design and installation

MUST have at least 2 years' experience leading or managing installation / construction teams

MUST have a strong work ethic, and be a self-starter and problem-solver

MUST be able to manage all aspects of complex construction projects, and work well with all levels of customers (both residential and commercial)

MUST have experience and skill at reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings

MUST be reliable, punctual, and be able to work well in a team setting
